Obituary Michelle Denise Murrell, 55, of Morehead City, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at her home. The Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, December 27, 2021, at Multitude of Praise Church in Havelock with Pastor Candice Wilson officiating. The entombment will immediately follow at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Beaufort. Michelle Denise Murrell, mother of three was born to Arletha Murrell Richardson and the late Franklin Murrell Jr and Richard Richardson(stepfather). She departed this earthly life on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Carteret Health Care to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Michelle received Christ at an early age at Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church in Beaufort, NC. While attending Carteret County Schools, she was academically gifted and excelled in all of her classes. This led her to tutoring school age children in reading and mathematics. She continued to display leadership qualities and had strong work ethics during her time at Peppertree on Atlantic Beach, where she became a supervisor in Housekeeping. She later went on to work for Pruitt Health-Trent in New Bern, NC. She was a funny, caring, happy and loving person. She always gave her last to those in need and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her mother, Arletha Murrell Richardson of Beaufort, NC; two daughters, Lakeisha Murray George of Raleigh, NC, Natasha Murrell of Havelock, NC; Two sisters, Velma Murrell (Tarzan Simmons) of Newport, NC; Valerie Jones of Beaufort, NC; six brothers, Franklin Murrell III of New Bern, NC; Lendell Murrell of Beaufort, NC; Calvin Murrell (Pamela Murrell) of Abbeville, LA; Richard Richardson Jr., Maurice Richardson (Caswandra Richardson), Walter Richardson; grandmother of eight and a host of nieces and nephews out of Beaufort, NC. Proceeding in death by her daughter, Valerie Amanda Murray; father, Franklin Murrell Jr. and Richard Richardson (stepfather).
