Alice Mae Noe

Alice Mae Pake Noe, 77, of Beaufort, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Harborview Nursing Home in Morehead City. Ms. Alice was a devoted wife and mother. She dedicated her life to raising her five boys and grandchildren. She had a deep love for children and kept the nursery at several churches in Beaufort. In addition to church nurseries, Ms. Alice took care of children in her home for most of her life. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Woodville Baptist Church in Bettie with Rev. Terry D. McInnis and Pastor Porter R. Graves III officiating. Burial will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens in Beaufort. A Visitation will take place from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Bridgeway Church in Beaufort. She is survived by four sons, Jay Noe and wife, Nancy of Bettie; John Noe and wife, Angela of Colerain, NC; Chris Noe and wife, Paula of Beaufort; Jody Noe and wife, Barbara of Beaufort; 11 grandchildren and two great granddaughters; sister, Minnie Stafford and husband, Arthur of Beaufort. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrtle Pake; husband, Louis James Noe III; son, Buddy Noe and his wife Dawn; two brothers, Ralph Pake and JC Pake; sister, Virgie Leister.
