Anthony 'Craig' Taylor

Obituary Anthony Craig Taylor, 64, of Morganton, Georgia died peacefully on September 27, 2023, at AdventHealth Redmond in Rome, Georgia. He was born in Beaufort, North Carolina and after spending most of his life in Carteret County he moved to Georgia in 2010. Craig graduated from East Carteret High School in Beaufort and began his 26-year career in public safety as a Firefighter/EMT/Fire Investigator. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Grace Presbyterian Church of Beaufort. Burial will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens of Beaufort. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday at the church. A recording of the service will be posted on Craigs obituary page at www.noefs.net He is survived by his wife, Meri Bell Taylor of Morganton; mother, Carol Cole Taylor of Beaufort; aunt, Jean Cole of Morehead City; uncle, Larry Cole of Maysville; niece, Janice Taylor Creel (John & Elijah) of Gloucester; nephews, Andrew Taylor of Morehead City and Jesse Kilgore, of Chattanooga, TN. His beloved fur babies, Rufus & Remy, already miss him terribly. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Taylor of Beaufort; his grandparents, Louis & Sadie Taylor of Sea Level, William & Addie Cole of Beaufort; his brother and sister-in-law, Errol & Glenda Taylor of Sea Level and former wife, Edith Kay Taylor.
