Barbara 'Diana' D. Hall

Diana Dennis Hall, 69, of Newport passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at her home surrounded by family. Diana was a graduate of Jacksonville High School class of 1966. She worked over 20 years with the NC State division of Marine Fisheries and CAMA where she later retired from being a state employee. She was a very loving wife, grandmother, aunt, sister and daughter. Diana never ignored anyone in need and gave with her whole heart. Diana loved big and enjoyed her time in the mountains of Grassy Creek, NC with her husband. A memorial service will be held will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Havelock. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Reggie Hall of Newport; daughter, Gina Hall of Havelock; son, Chuck Hall and wife Cindy of Newport; four grandchildren, Justin, Logan, Brody, and Teresa; great granddaughter, Abigail; sister, Hope Gay and husband, Ronnie of Goldsboro; brother, Billy Dennis and wife, Jane of Jacksonville; six nieces and nephews, Nina, Nick, Melissa, Betsy, Angie and W.T.; four legged friends, Chaka and Gracie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Bobbie Dennis and her brother, Speedy Dennis.
