Bob 'Holmesy' William Holmes, Jr.

Bob "Holmesy" Holmes, 59, of Havelock, NC (originally from Braintree, MA), passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, NC. Holmesy was a machinist by trade and owned and operated Honey Do Handy Man services for many years. Holmesy is survived by his wife of 16 years, Barbara Holmes of the home; daughter, Julie Holmes of Weymouth, MA; step-sons, Bobby Lundgren of the home; Brian Lundgren of Avon, MA; step-daughter, Bonnie Wyatt of Bridgewater, MA; five grandchildren; sister, Charlene MacDonald of West Palm Beach, FL; brother, Gregory Holmes of Abington, MA; sister, Carolyn Cheney of Milford, MA; sister Laurie Jason of Trinity, FL; and many nieces and nephews. Holmesy was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret (Shannon) Holmes, Sr. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
