Bryan Allred

Bryan Allred, 54, of Otway, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at New Hanover Regional Hospital in Wilmington. 

Bryan was well known carpenter, he also worked as a Captain of a supply boat in Louisiana. He loved the water, being in his boat, camping, and fishing. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort, with Pastor Ricky Rose officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church. 

He is survived by his three children, Joshua Thomas Long of Lawrence, GA; Gaige Allred of Otway; Brandy Rae Allred and fiancé, Kodie of Otway; grandson, Ryan Allred of Mt. Olive; and a granddaughter on the way, Scarlett Rae Creech; his mother, Juanita Gillikin of Otway; father, Henry Allred and wife, Lynn of South River; brother, Patrick Eugene Allred and wife, Sarah of Statesville; stepsister, Leslie Allred of Beaufort; nephew, Bailey Allred and wife, Avery and their daughter, Amelia of Core Creek; his two lifelong best friends, John Main of Atlantic Beach and Jason Brazie of Beaufort. 

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Timmy Gillikin.
