Capt. Allan Raymond Morris

Captain Al Morris, USMC (Ret), 81, of Havelock, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at Carteret Landing, in Morehead city. Captain Morris served for over 20 years in the US Marine Corps. He was also the Commodore of the Riverview Yacht Club of Toledo, OH. A visitation will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, September 1, 2017 at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort. Burial, with full military honors, will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. He is survived by his son, CWO4 AR Morris and wife, Shelly of Havelock; five grandchildren; and sister, Carol Turner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Morris; two daughters, Terry Morris and Sherri Hinz.
