Capt. Paul David Quimby

Paul Quimby, 74, of Beaufort, passed away Thursday February 18, 2016 at his home. Mr. Quimby was an US Army Veteran. He worked for Sikorsky as an aircraft mechanic for many years and also owned and operated serval small businesses. A visitation/gathering of friends will be held from 2:00 to 3:00PM Sunday at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Amy Quimby of Beaufort; step-son, Joshua Foster of Beaufort; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; sister, Faith Sowders of Midway Park; several nieces and newphews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Quimby; brother, Alvin "Buddy" Quimby; daughter, Petra E.. Sledgeski; granddaughter, Lisa Sledgesko; best friends, Beau and Moe.
