Charles 'Buddy' Edward Rose

Obituary Charles "Buddy" Edward Rose, 69, of Beaufort, passed away November 14, 2018 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport after a valiant battle against cancer. Buddy, a Vietnam Veteran, proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. He loved NASCAR, racing, hunting, fishing and working with his hands. There will be no formal services per his request. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jan Rose of the home; son, Christopher Rose of Otway; grandchildren, Bailey Rose and Jonathan Piner of Beaufort; "granddaughters by proxy" Jordan Robinson and Jaime Boyette; numerous cousins and friends; special "family", Robert and Dee Sharp; L.J. Robinson; special cousins, Pam Taylor and Larry Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Viva and Charlie Rose Jr.; sister, Priscilla Rose; son Peter Alan Rose; and in-laws, Col Floyd A and Alice Karker USMC Ret.
