Charlie Rose Jr.

Charlie Rose, Jr., 86, of Beaufort, passed away Tuesday December 8, 2015 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. Mr. Rose served in the US Coast Guard and retired from Cherry Point. A funeral service will be held11:00 Saturday at Otway Christian Church with Pastor Jack Mumford officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Morehead City with Military Honors. He is survived by his son, Charles "Buddy" Rose and wife, Jan of Beaufort; daughter, Priscilla Jane Rose of Beaufort; step-son, Randy Smith of Beaufort; step-daughter, Patti Taylor of Otway; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both wives, Viva Gillikin Rose and Alta Mae Rose; grandson, Peter Alan Rose.
