Obituary Cheryl Fulcher Lewis, 68, of Harkers Island, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at her home. Cheryl was a faithful member of Free Grace Wesleyan Church, she loved the water, boating, flowers, life, and family. She worked for over 20 years as a seamstress at Blue Bell Shirt Factory. But her true passion was as an CNA at the Brady Birthing Center in Morehead City. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Free Grace Wesleyan Church of Harkers Island with Pastor Clint Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Vergie Mae Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Dale Lewis of Harkers Island; son, Robert Dale Lewis Jr. of Harkers Island; brother, David Fulcher and significant other, Charlotte Sherwood of Otway; She was preceded in death by her parents, Billie and Laura Fulcher; brother, Vernon Fulcher; sister, Laura "Sissy" Lucille Fulcher.
