Christopher Lamont Taylor

Christopher Lamont Taylor, 52, of Raeford, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at his home.

Chris was active in football and track in high school. He served in the US Navy after high school and went on to work as a chef and also a fiber optic installer. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM on Friday at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Christina Cleveland of Raeford; his children: Matthew Mathis, Malayma Taylor, Destanie Taylor, Makel Taylor, Kay-lei Taylor, Mikah Taylor, Aydin Taylor, Morgan Taylor, Ja'sarion Taylor, and Yazmeonia Taylor; mother, Dollie Taylor of Beaufort; brother, Antony Taylor of Goldsboro; sister, Avril Taylor of Beaufort; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Taylor; sister, Beverly Turray.
