Clarence Lummie Madden Jr., 80, of Beaufort, passed away Friday October 28, 2016 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House of Newport. Mr. Clarence was a fisherman on the shad boats in Beaufort. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday November 6, 2016 at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort. Burial will follow at Ocean View Cemetery of Beaufort. He is survived by his three sisters, Gertrude Madden Murry of North River; Nora Madden of Beaufort; Vivian Virginia Madden of Beaufort; brother, James Hayward Madden of Jenning, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Gertrude Madden and three brothers.
