Obituary Clifton Smith Jr., 77, of Beaufort, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport. He worked as a production supervisor for 48 years at Block & Tile in Morehead City. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery with Pastor Hubert Judon officiating. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Smith of Beaufort; son, Wallace Smith of Beaufort; daughter, Angie Smith of Beaufort, son, Nicky Smith of Beaufort; grandson, Quincy Smith of Harrells; grandson, Alex Riggs of Beaufort; granddaughter, Charity Wallace of Beaufort; granddaughter, Joi McClean; three great grandchildren; three brothers, Primrose Smith, John Smith, Odzell Smith of Beaufort; one sister, Dorleana Smith of Beaufort. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Smith and Carretta Murrell; and son, Timmy Smith. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort.
