Curtis Dean Reaves

Curtis D. Reaves, 74, of Newport, passed away Tuesday November 15, 2016 at his home. Mr. Reaves was a long haul truck driver and served in the US Navy for six years. The family will celebrate his life privately. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha Reaves of Newport; five sons, David Reaves of Burbank California, Tony Reaves of Hurdle Mills, NC, Jeff Reaves of Woodsdale, NC, Randy Reaves of Woodsdale, NC, and Joey Reaves of Durham, NC; three daughters, Celeste Reaves of Roxboro, NC, Tracy Baggett of Winston-Salem, NC, and Kelly Simpson of Newport; fifteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and seven brothers and sisters.
