Daniel 'Danny' Lewis Gordon Jr.

Obituary Daniel "Danny" Lewis Gordon Jr., 47, of Atlantic, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern. Danny graduated in 1989 from North Davison Senior High School in Lexington, NC. He was a member of Atlantic Missionary Baptist Church. He formerly owned and operated Gradys Tire Service at 604 Aureole St. in Winston-Salem. Danny worked as a Commercial Truck Tire Mechanic at Chadwick Tire Company in Otway from January 1998 until his health began to decline in January 2015. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Atlantic United Methodist Church with Rev. Adam Self officiating. Burial will follow at Atlantic Community Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Wendi Gail Smith Gordon of Atlantic; daughter, Emily Paige Gordon of Winston-Salem; mother, Diane Jones Gordon of Beaufort; sister, Christine Michele Gordon & fiance Steven Whisenhunt of Winston-Salem; niece, Ashely Willis and husband, Zack of Winston-Salem; Danny enjoyed his special friends, Derek Polizzi, Brandon Gavetti, Joey Gavetti, Little Doc Saunders and Allen Styron. Danny had many family members, who he dearly love-names are not listed as there are too many to list. He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Gordon. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Saturday at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort.
