David Duane Jackson

David Duane Jackson, age 51, of Newport, went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2017 after a brief illness. His family and loved ones were by his side at his time of death. There will be a family gathering announced at a later date. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Jackson; son, Brody Lee Jackson; daughters, Karen; Kimberly; and Regina Brown; all of Beaufort, NC; brother, Scott Jackson and wife, Brandy Mullins; sister, Kimberly Jackson; mother, Peggy Sharpe; all of Tennessee, and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Jackson; son, John David Brown Jr.; and brother, Richard Schemmel all of Asheville, NC. He will be greatly missed by all, who loved him and knew him!
