Dean Troxler

Dean Troxler, 86, of Sea Level, originally of Reidsville, NC, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House of Newport. She was born in Eden, Rockingham County, NC on July 6, 1930, the daughter of John W. Troxler and Josephine D. Troxler. Mrs. Troxler was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle in Danville, VA. She was a 1949 graduate of Wentworth High School and was a housewife and mother. Mrs. Troxler was married to Arnold J. Joines Jr. in 1951. Cpl Joines was killed in Korea while on active duty in 1953. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00PM Wednesday at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort. A private burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Reidsville, NC. Mrs. Troxler later married Mallory M. Roach in 1956. She is survived by two sons, David A. Roach Sr. and his wife, Debbie of Beaufort; Tracy Gordon Roach of Eden; two grandchildren, David A. Roach Jr. of Morehead City; Krystal Roach Pittman and her husband, William A. Pittman; their son Hank Pittman of Beaufort; brother, Richard M. Troxler and wife, Beverly of Colorado Springs, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and Cpl. Joines, she was preceded in death by her brother, John L. Troxler and his wife, Virginia of Reidsville, NC. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Crystal Coast Hospice House, PO Box 640, Newport, NC 28570.
