Obituary Debbie Wilson Adams, 62, of Beaufort, passed away at home on Monday, December 31, 2018. "Debbie Jane" was born in Carteret County on July 19, 1956 to the late Charlie L. and Eva Wilson Sr. She attended Carteret County Schools. Debbie gave her life to Christ at an early age; and was a God-fearing woman who loved God with all her heart, mind and soul. Even during her time of illness, she always had a testimony to share with you about how God was so good and what He had done for her. She loved doing crossword puzzles and daily bible reading and study. Her bible was always in her hands when you visited with her. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Hubert Judon officiating. Burial will follow at Ocean View Cemetery in Beaufort. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Shawn Wilson; daughter, Latavia Dukes; very devoted caretaker and friend, Ronnie Chambers; sisters, Carolyn (Lovota) Abrams of Leland, NC; Letha (Tyrone) Davis; Mary Wilson; Patricia Smith; Helen (Lynwood) Morris; Nellie (Charlie) Crooms; Vernette (John) Simmons; Anna Wilson all of Beaufort, NC; brother, Charlie L. (Tasha) Wilson Jr of Havelock, NC; grandchildren, Malika Jenkins of Wilmington, DE; Marissa Pavia-Wilson; Janiya Davis both of Morehead City, NC; Emani Pritchett of Beaufort, NC; Tyrek and Jaydon Dukes of Newport, NC; great-grandchildren, Tamara, Kenyia and Azarie Jenkins of Wilmington, DE; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Wilson; and four siblings, Jessie; Patsy; Lisa and John.
