Delphine Hargett

Obituary Delphine Wallace Hargett was born in the Merrimon community on July 31, 1947, and was called home on October 28, 2022. She resided at 120 Kevin Court in Beaufort, NC. A member of Queen Street Missionary Baptist Church, Delphine enjoyed singing in the choir & praising God. She loved hosting gatherings where she entertained & cooked for family & friends. She never met a stranger, and greeted everyone with a hug & smile. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Bridgeway Church with Rev. William Ellison officiating. She was proceeded in death by her parents Clyde Wallace, Sr. & Rosetta Morris Wallace, her daughter Charlotte Wallace, grandson Montrelle Allen, great-granddaughter Jayda Wallace & sisters Hazel Wallace Sharpe & Lindell Murrell. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Darrin Wallace of Beaufort, and daughter Tina Wilson (Donell) of Lansing, MI. Brothers: Clyde Wallace Jr, Terry Wallace, & Wendell Murrell. Sisters: Havanna Reels (Secar), Egetta White. 6 grandchildren & 13 great-grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, family, friends, & her loving friend Ina Rae Pickett. The family would like to extend their many thanks to each and every person who offered their love & support during our bereavement.
