Dianne Elizabeth Voliva

Dianne Williams Voliva, 66, of Beaufort, left her earthly residence on Friday, December 8, 2023, surrounded by family and friends at home.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort with Pastor Rusty Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation Sunday night from 6-8pm at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home, in Morehead City.

Dianne was born in Morehead City NC on June 8, 1957, the daughter of Tull Everette Williams and Blanche Saunders Williams.

Dianne graduated from East Carteret High School, June 1975. She attended Nursing School at Carteret Community College. She completed the Emergency Medical Technician/Defibrillation Certification in 1989/1990 and volunteered at Beaufort EMS for many years, until she was hired as an EMT. During her time as a volunteer, she served in the position of Secretary/Treasurer. In 2001, Dianne obtained her Property Insurance License, and then in 2002, obtained her Life and Health Insurance License. She worked in the Insurance Industry until 2019.

Dianne had a very outgoing personality. She loved God, her family, friends and fur babies. She never met a stranger. She was always the first one to step up and help someone in need. On July 3, 1983, Dianne married James Fredrick Voliva, they just celebrated 40 years of marriage this year.

Dianne was predeceased by her father, Tull Everette Williams.

She is survived by her husband, James Fredrick Voliva; her mother, Blanche Saunders Williams of Beaufort NC; her daughter, Amy Voliva Hunt of Beaufort NC; her grandson, Daniel Everette Hunt (Teylor) of James City, NC; and her granddaughter, Ariana Jean Hunt of Beaufort NC.
