Donald Boone

Donald Boone Sr., 87, of Marshallberg, passed away Wednesday December 6, 2017 at his home. A valued member of the community he always lent a hand to whoever was in need. Mr. Boone was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Marshallberg and a founding member of the church calendar committee. Mr. Boone was also a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, and the Core Sound Museum. Mr. Boone is survived by his wife, Doris Boone of Marshallberg; three daughters, Donna Boone of Marshallberg; Linda Jacobson of Baltimore, MD; Gail Warnick of Richmond, VA; son, Donald Boone Jr. of Beaufort; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, John Boone of Portland, OR; James Boone of Westminster, MD; and sister Kay Miller of Bluffton, SC. He was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Clyde Boone. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, 119 Scott Drive Beaufort, NC 28516. A service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church of Marshallberg at 11:00am on Saturday 16 December, 2017.
