Dora Mae Barrows Beesley, 80, of Cape Carteret, passed away February 9, 2016 at Snug Harbor on Nelson Bay in Sea Level. The family will celebrate her life privately. She is survived by her daughter, Becky Rowland and husband, Mitch of Cape Carteret; son, Jim Beesley and wife, Karen of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Becca, Sam, and Erin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Don" Beesley. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association at ALZ.org.
