Dorothy Lee Harker

Obituary Dorothy Swinson Harker, 78, of Beaufort, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 at Croatan Ridge Nursing Center in Newport. She was a long time member of Ann Street United Methodist Church, where she taught Kindergarten for twenty eight years and was active in many other church activities as well including the United Methodist Women. The memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Ann Street United Methodist Church with Rev. David Adams officiating. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Della Swinson and her brothers Larry and Charles Swinson. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty one years Richard Owen Harker, Sr; daughter Dottie Harker Pruzan; son, Richard Owen Harker, Jr and wife Susan Gordon Harker; grandchildren, Anna Gabrielle Pruzan, Christopher Andrew Harker and Colby Alexander Harker and wife SarBeth Johnson Harker.
