Effa Mae Murrell

Obituary Effa Mae Murrell, 68, of Beaufort, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport. Effa was a very good person, spoke what was on her mind, a joy to be around, and a very hard worker. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Monday, March 9, 2020 at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Hubert Judon officiating. Committal will follow at the church cemetery. She is survived by her son, Robert Murrell of Beaufort; daughter, Angelique Foster of Raleigh: grandchildren, Terence, Dajan, Robert Jr., Dereona, Cayden, Caylin, and Reality; seven great grandchildren; sister, Arletha Richardson of North River; brother, James Murrell of Magnolia, NJ; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Inez Murrell; two brothers, Walter Murrell Jr. and Roy Murrell; sister, Armania Long; daughter, Tia Murrell. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Monday at the Church.
