Elaine Marie Byers

Obituary Elaine Marie Byers, 65, of Newport, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at her home. Elaine was a devoted Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend. She was loved and admired by those who knew her. As a talented hairdresser, Elaine owned and managed His and Her Styles by Elaine in Carroll, Ohio for 22 years with many regulars who called her family. Elaine was also a talented baker who provided many beautiful cakes for all occasions including weddings for family and friends. Always the catalyst to organize gatherings and parties for family and friends Elaine had a natural talent of bringing people together. Elaines greatest achievement was her children, who made her so proud. With the ability to always see the good in those around her, Elaine and her compassion will be greatly missed. The family will hold a private celebration of life. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Chris Byers of Newport; son, Steph Stormy Gauchel and wife, Jess of Medford, MA; son, Blake Eugene Byers and wife, Ashley of Lancaster, OH; daughter, Angela Marie Austin and husband, Rob of Cape Carteret; daughter, Joni Marie Byers of Cape Carteret; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; four brothers, Tom Renko and wife, Pam of Lancaster, OH; Bruce Renko and wife, Marie of Lancaster, OH; Rick Renko and wife, Marilynn of Terre Haute, IN, Mark Renko and wife, Kim of Lancaster, OH; sister, Nancy Spires of Clarksburg, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Kay Renko. Special thank you to the Enforcers M.C. for fulfilling Elaine's Bucket List.
