Obituary Ellen (Noyes) Arnold, born on November 29, 1939 in Portland, Oregon formerly of Mill Creek, North Carolina. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her daughter Jayne and Bobby Browns home in Fernandina Beach, Florida on June 10, 2020. Ellen was married to the late James D. Arnold, Sr. of Millcreek, North Carolina. Ellen loved being a wife, mom, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a Guardian Ad Litem and volunteered at Carteret General Hospital. She loved Church, dunking landing, memories, NASCAR, mistletoe and food. She was survived by her daughter, Ellen (Zane) Thomas of Quaker Hill, CT. Daughter, Jayne (Bobby) Brown of Fernandina Beach, FL. Joyce Arnold of Millcreek, NC. Son, James D. Arnold, Jr. of Millcreek, NC. Daughter, Melissa Osborne of Havelock, NC. Cheyenne Wright of Georgia. Jaymz Wright of Havelock, NC and two bonus sons, Frankie Gratham and Eddie Geer of Mill Creek, NC. Grandchildren, Adam (Jessica) Thomas, Thomas Thomas, Jeromy Thomas, Melissa (Jamael) Autry, Bobby Brown, Jr., Felicia (Artemio) Hernandez, Richard Krnc, Abigail Arnold, Tyi and Tye Osborne. Great grandchildren, Taytum, Shaun, Jared, Jordan, Autumn, Megan, Jeromy, Jr., Addie, Artemio Jr., Gabriela, Justin, Rayna, Schon, Jameson, Ryleigh, Ben, Anna and Abby. Ellen was predeceased by her husband, James D. Arnold, Sr. Daughter, Charlene Arnold, Mother, Ellen F. Noyes, Father, Albert J. Noyes, Brothers, Melvin L. Reeves and Richard A. Noyes and Sister, Phyllis E. Bertapelli. Memorial will be on October 10, 2020 at 11 AM at Graham Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3448 Mill Creek Rd, Mill Creek, NC.
