Elton "El" Luttrell Smith Jr.

Elton “EL” Smith Jr, 69, of Stacy, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Davis Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Mercer officiating. Burial will follow at Oscar Davis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 on Wednesday at the church. A recording of the service will be available at noefs.net.

EL is survived by his niece and caregiver, Christie Fulcher and husband, Boozer of Stacy; niece and caregiver, Bobbie Jo Davis of Stacy; nephew, Ray Winchester and wife, Jessica of Davis; many great and great great nieces and nephews; brother, Robert Taylor and wife, Patty of Otway.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Gladys Smith; step-father, Robert Taylor; brother, Mike Smith; nephew, Mike Winchester; sister and caregiver until her death in 2012, Elda Jo Davis and her husband, Bobby.
