Eva Felton Little

Eva Little, 80, of Beaufort, gained her heavenly wings Thursday, April 4, 2024, at home.

Eva Felton Little was born on January 31, 1944 in Carteret County to the late David and Ovella Felton of Beaufort, NC. She was united in Holy matrimony with Carl “York” Little who preceded her in death. From this union three children were born One child, Carl Little, Jr. preceded them in death. At an early age Eva Felton joined Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, where she became a very Faithful member. Eva directed the young adult choir. She participated in many ministries in the church before her health failed her. Eva Felton Little was a hard-working woman of God. She started early in years as a teacher, for Head Start she was loved by all her students and parents Eva Felton, stopped working there. Later in life, being such a giving and humble person, she began caring for her mother, Ovella Murrell Felton, until she passed thereafter, she began working in the health care field until her health failed her.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort. Entombment will follow at the Felton Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 on Saturday at the church. The service will be live streamed at noefs.net.

She leaves to cherish her memories two children: daughters; Pamela Little of Beaufort, NC, Carla Little of Leland, NC; four brothers, Clyde Felton, Sr. (Dorothy), Rudolph Felton (Lena), Merica Felton (Brenda) of Beaufort, NC, Swannie Felton (Linda) of Louisiana; fifteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one God-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
