Faye Hamilton, 71, of Harkers Island, passed away Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. The family will conduct a memorial service 11:00 AM Saturday August 20, 2016 at the Harkers Island United Methodist Church with Pastor Brad Williams officiating. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, James Hamilton of Harkers Island; five sisters, Barbara Ammons of Surfside Beach, SC; Linda Hardee of Loris, SC; Dorothy McFayden of Roseboro; Carrie Lue Wright of Tabor City; Clara Bell Wilson of Maggie Valley; brother- in-law, Ernest Hamilton and wife, Margaret of Pittsboro; two sisters-in-law, Patty McDonald of Fayetteville, Peggy of Lemons of Harkers Island; nephew, Ricky Johnson; niece, Lillie Johnson; and her two loving cats, Traveler and Bandit.
