Frederick 'Cook' Sapp

Obituary Frederick 'Cook' Sapp, 71, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Carteret Memorial Gardens. Cook attended St. Stephen's Congregational UCC for many years. He loved music and history. Cook was known for his humble spirit, kind heart and was rarely seen without a smile on his face. A man of few words but he made each of them count. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Duke Sapp, Sr. and Elizabeth Fulford Sapp. He is survived by special cousin, James 'Jay' Smith III, as well as many other cousins and special friends.
