Gene Lewis Jr.

Gene Felton Lewis, Jr, 61, of Beaufort, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Gene worked as an electrician and maintenance for the Supreme Court in Washington DC. In his spare time he loved fishing and being outdoors.

He is survived by his aunt, Beverly Willis Piner of Beaufort; two cousins, Christopher Alan Piner of Beaufort; Gary Cole Willis of Clemons, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Barbara Lewis; son, Russell Kyle Lewis; and his special partner, Angela Jo Williams.
