Obituary Genevieve Rose Moore, 72, of Beaufort, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at Virgie Mae Cemetery on Harkers Island for the graveside service with Pastor Ricky Rose officiating. Genevieve was born October 26, 1949 in Carteret County and has lived in this area most of her life. She was a long-time member of Grace Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Vertie Rose, two brothers Randy Wayne and Kirby Grey Rose, and one sister Patty Lynn Rose. She is survived by daughter, Veronica Michelle Lewis (James), son, Walt Gillikin, Jr., grandson James Dereck Lewis and a brother, Tommy Elvin Rose as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and special friends.
