Gerald 'Gerry' Anderson

Gerry Anderson, 71, of Beaufort, previously of Illinois, passed away Saturday August 13, 2016 at his home. Gerry was well known as a custom fishing rod builder. Gerry was a Vietnam combat veteran serving at the rank of Sargent as a field artillery observer in the US Army. Gerry was a life time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. A gathering of friends will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday August 27, 2016 at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort, with Military Honors at 1:00 PM. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Anderson; wife, Vick Anderson; two brothers, Kenneth and Robert Anderson.
