Obituary Gordon Earl Canfield, 72 of Morehead City, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021. Gordon was a loving father and grandfather, who loved all pets, and going to the beach. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Margaret Canfield and also by his sister, Natalie C. Steen. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cristy and Scott Gordy; son and daughter-in-law, Kip and Teresa Swaringen; grandchildren, Ansley, Amelia and Alex; two brothers, Eugene and Graham Canfield; and by special friend, Patsy Godwin.
