Hobert 'Bert' Morton Kelly

Hobert "Bert" Morton Kelly, 65, of Beaufort passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at his home. Bert and his dad were the owners and operators of Kellys Service Center of Morehead City for over 50 years. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Bridgeway Church with Jeffrey Sadler officiating. Burial will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens of Beaufort. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Smith Kelly; daughter, Renea Kelly Bell and grandchildren, Tyler and Olivia Bell all of Beaufort; two sisters, Nancy Styron and husband, Larry Wayne of Beaufort; Mamie Holt and husband, Michael of Beaufort; two sisters in law, Beverly Harrell and husband Ray of Beaufort; Cathy Smith and companion, Lew Llewellyn of Atlantic Beach; ten nieces and nephews, Meghan Holt, Michael Holt, Kelly Styron, Kemp Styron and wife, Katie, Courtney Giblin, Ryan Giblin, Kameron Giblin, Billie Hardesty and husband, Matt, Tony Pavone , Stephanie Merritt and husband, Ryan; his faithful sidekicks, Lucky and Skye. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobert and Patricia Kelly and in laws, Billy and Ellen Smith. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at the church.
