Holly Dianne Brister

Obituary Holly Brister, 61, of Bettie passed away Sunday, October 07, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center of Greenville. Holly worked for over 20 years at Otway Hardware and spent 20 years with the Carteret County School System as a bookkeeper. She will be remembered for her deep love of cats and nature. Holly loved being "Aunt Holly" to her nephew Vince and niece Gwynn. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort with Jay Noe officiating. She is survived by her husband, Joey Johnson of Bettie; mother, Joyce Rose of Beaufort; sister, Libby McCarthy and husband, Mike of Beaufort; nephew, Michael McCarthy of Beaufort; niece, Erica Russell and husband, Brian of Greenville; great nephew, Vince Russell of Greenville; great niece, Gwynn Russell of Greenville. She was preceded in death by her father, Marion T. Noe Jr. The family will receive friends following the service.
