Howard 'Bobby' Rose Jr

Obituary Howard "Bobby" Rose Jr, 81, of Harkers Island, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport. Bobby was a welder and loved riding his moped to Clayton Fulcher Fish House, Willis Boathouse, Ricky Gillikin Boatworks and to Shell Point where hed stand with his hands in his pockets and stare at the lighthouse. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Vergie Mae Cemetery on Harkers Island with Pastor Manley Rose officiating. Mr. Rose is survived by his four children, William Howard Rose and his wife Elizabeth of Straits; Terry Rose Kington of Marshallberg; Debra Rose Davis and her husband Donnie of Otway; and Stephen Glenn Rose of Otway; nine grandchildren, Amanda; Charlotte; Leslie; Ashley; Chris; Nikki; Anthony; Paul; and Samantha; twenty greatgrandchildren, Jacob; Carter; Presley; Erica; Camden; Bennett; Charley Kate; Ryan; Madelyn; Hazel; Nathan; Conner; Nicolas; Karleigh; Randy; Jordan; Cadance; Chelsea; McKenzie; and McKynlee; and brother, Lloyd Nolan "Mike" Rose and wife Gwen of Gloucester. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Alice Rose Sr.; sisters, Leda Chadwick and Ruth Styron; and brothers, William Clifton "Tillboy" Rose and Joey Rose.
