James 'Bill' Earl Dickinson

Obituary James "Bill" "Jimmy" Dickinson, 69, of Beaufort passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. Mr. Dickinson worked as an engineer at Cherry Point for 42 years. He was a member of Core Creek United Methodist Church and a Lay Leader for many years. He enjoyed running and completed 20 marathons in his lifetime. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Core Creek United Methodist Church with Pastor Judy Billings officiating. The family will receive friends at the church the hour prior to the service. Mr. Dickinson is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Andrews Dickinson of Beaufort; mother, Irene Dickinson of Beaufort; son, Jeremy Dickinson and wife June of Morehead City; daughter, Jamie Dickinson Price and husband Adam of Newport; grandchildren, Caroline Dickinson; Tucker Dickinson; Abigail Dickinson; Lucy Dickinson all of Morehead City; Teagan James Price of Newport; brother, Johnny Dickinson and wife Kathy of Beaufort.
