James Clabron Chichester

James C. Chichester, 78, of Morehead City, passed away June 29, 2017 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House of Newport. Mr. Chichester retired after 37 years with the Carolina Telephone Company. He was also US Army Veteran. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and walking on the beach. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00PM Thursday July 27, 2017at Life Point Church of Morehead City with Pastor Ray Conner officiating. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Alice Vaughan Chichester of Morehead City; two daughters, Joyce Rooker and husband, Kevin of Morehead City; Laura Balance of Morehead City; two grandchildren, Michelle Breedlove of Wichita Falls, TX; Kevin Clabron "KC" Rooker of Morehead City; brother, Joseph Palmer "JP" Chichester and wife, Erma of Chesapeake, VA; sister, Christene Wollett and husband, Lynn of Hollister, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Alice Chichester; two sisters, Lois Chichester and Vera Aycock; two brothers, Ernest and Dewey Aycock.
