James T. Osborne

Obituary James "Jimmy" T. Osborne, 82, of Beaufort, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Pruitt Health- Sea Level. Mr. Osborne coached the Beaufort Little League and the Carteret County All Stars in the early 70s. He also served in the US Marine Corps and retired from NADEP aboard Cherry Point. After retirement he worked at Kurtis Chevrolet of Morehead City. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort with Jay Noe officiating and military honors. He is survived by his son, Kerry Van Osborne and wife, Jeri of Beaufort; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy Butler of Lexington, NC; Mary Ann Osborne of Lexington, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lee and Blanche Osborne; his three brothers and one sister; son, Terry Osborne; wife, Cecelia Frances Osborne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Mr. Osborne.
