James 'Thump' Garfield Henry

Obituary James "Thump" Garfield Henry, 45, of Beaufort, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center of Greenville. Mr. Henry was a member of the Community Outreach Ministry of Morehead City. He was a certified electrician with Vaughn Industry. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort with Pastor Annie Henry officiating. He is survived by his father, George Henry of Beaufort; mother, Carolyn Hucks-Henry of Schertz, TX; four sisters, Margaret Patterson and husband, James of Beaufort; Carolene Greene and husband, Craig of NY; Michelle Thomas and husband, Raymond of Schertz, TX; Lakissa Shelvin of Havelock; four brothers, Michael Hucks of Morehead City; Leland Hucks of Wilson, NC; George A. Henry and wife, Bridgette of Charlotte, NC; Eddie Henry of Newport. He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Hucks.
