Jeffery 'Jeffie' Wayne Alexander

Jeffery "Jeffie" Wayne Alexander, 47, of Newport, passed away Tuesday July 5, 2016 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. Family will celebrate his life privately. Mr. Alexander worked as a Truck Driver for Short Haul Trucking. He is survived by his wife, Helen Lewis Parker of Newport; three sons, Erick James Alexander of Newport; Cory Wayne Alexander of Rose Hill; and Alexander Thomas Parker of Rose Hill; a daughter, Heather Marlor; a grandson Noah Bryant Gunter of Newport,; his mother-in-law Mary Frances Hanns of Havelock; four brothers, James "Jimbo" Edward Alexander Jr., Robert "Bobby" Allen, Roger "Genie" Gene all of VA, and David "Pockets" Lee Alexander of Florida; a sister Tammy Lynn Alexander Sexton of TN; and his parents James Edward Alexander and Alice Lucille Carter of Blackwater, VA. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Glen "Glennie" Carter and Georgia "Bug" Fleeman.
