Jilue 'Iilue' Dudley

Obituary Jilue 'Iilue' Dudley, born December 1, 1961, age 56, went on to glory July 18, 2018. She was at Snug Harbor on Nelson Bay until God called her home. She graduated from West Carteret High School and worked as a housekeeper until her health began to fail. She received Christ as her personal savior at an early age and was a member of St. Stephens AME Zion Church. She never complained, always kept a smile on her face, and was very lovable to people until her Savior Jesus Christ placed wings on her to carry her home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at St. Stephen AME Zion Church in Morehead City with Dr. Rev. William Snow officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Morehead City. She leaves to cherish her memory, five sisters, Evangeline Dudley; Virrone (Glenn) Felton; Marilyn Coward; Roberta Dudley; Minnie Dudley; devoted friend of 32 years, Ralph Jefferson; sister-in-law, Rose Dudley; and many nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; cousins; and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mable Dudley Sr; brother, Robert Dudley Jr; and nephew, Anthony Dudley.
