Jimmy Eugene Mcgraw Sr.

Jimmy Eugene McGraw, Sr., 64, of Newport, NC passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at his home. Mr. McGraw worked for over 35yrs as a mason and was well known for his expert masonry skills. He was a member of Reeses Chapel in Mill Creek and taught Sunday School. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00PM on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Reeses Chapel with Pastors James "Winkie" Chadwick and Jack Mumford officiating. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service. Mr. McGraw is survived by his daughter, Melonie and husband, Patrick McGraw Walsh of Charlotte; son, Jimmy and wife, Elizabeth McGraw II of Newport; son, Michael and wife, Megan McGraw of Charlotte; grandchildren, Brandon; Brianna; Danielle; Jacob; Marianna; Jonathan; Dylan; and Ethan; great-grandchildren, Ella; and Aura; sister, Mary Ann and husband, Jack McGraw Mumford of Beaufort; nephew, Mark Lewis; and niece, Ashley Lewis McMillion. Mr. McGraw was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mary (Modlin) McGraw; and son Timothy Paul McGraw.
