Joann Pittman Giffin, 58, of Newport passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House of Newport. The family will celebrate her life in private. Mrs. Giffin is survived by her son, Brandon Giffin of Newport; and brother, Tillman Pittman Jr. of Morehead City. Mrs. Giffin is preceded in death by her husband, Joey Giffin; Parents, Tillman and Ellen (Edwards) Pittman; sister, Janice Morris; and brother, Troy Edwards.
