Obituary John Munro Sadler Jr., 79, of Atlantic, NC passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at his home. John was a faithful deacon of Atlantic Missionary Baptist Church before his medical condition began. He spent his life in service as part of the United States Navy, the Norfolk Virginia Fire Department, and to others through the local church. He also was a wonderful husband, family man, friend, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. The family will celebrate his life privately. John is survived by his wife, Brenda Sadler of the home; daughters, Robin Stewart; Terri Sadler-Sippel and her husband, Jeremy; son, John Munro Sadler III; step-daughters, Tina Willis and her husband, Chad; Shelly Newark and her husband, Frank; step-son, Tim Mathias and his wife Casey; ten grandchildren, David Stewart and his wife, Mandi; Randy Stewart and his wife, Anneka; Sarah Ryan and her husband, Billy; Ian Sippel; Emma Sippel; Ashlynn Mathias; Jadey Mathias; Laura Parker; Caroline Newark; Catherine Newark; five great-grandchildren, Raylee Stewart; Jack Stewart; Elizabeth Stewart; Suzie Stewart; and Ella Ryan.
