John Spencer Knopf

Obituary John S. Knopf, 73, of Beaufort, NC, formerly of Bridgeport, CT, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, NC. Mr. Knopf was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and had a successful career as an electrician. He was also a proud member of the Miamogue Yacht Club in Bridgeport. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Hannelore Knopf; step granddaughter, Nicole Quimby; step great grandson, Justin Cantwell; sister Sheila Terry; and nephews, Chris and Lance Terry. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Geiger; grandmother, Minnie Geiger; and step daughter Petra Sledgeski.
