John 'Tommy' Thomas Moore Sr.

Obituary John "Tommy" Thomas Moore Sr., 76, of Beaufort, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at his home. Mr. Moore served in the US Air Force and worked as an aircraft Mechanic aboard Cherry Point. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort with Pastor Paul Gillikin officiating. Burial will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens of Beaufort. He is survived by his daughter, Angela M. Roberts and husband, Bill of Beaufort; two sons, John "John Boy" Moore Jr. and wife, Julie of Morehead City; Mark J. Moore of Beaufort; the mother of his children and caregiver, Ann Mason of Beaufort; eight grandchildren, Caroline Costa of Beaufort; Merdith Traister of Beaufort; Shelby Moore of Morehead City; Brooke South of Newport; Kyndal Respers of Beaufort; Abby Moore of Beaufort; Mason Moore of Beaufort; Parker Moore of Beaufort; seven great grandchildren: Rebecca Moore, Arianna Respers, Ahliyah Costa, A.J. Costa, Kinley South, Kalel Hunt, Jaxson Hunt all of Beaufort; sister, Hazel Guthrie of Morehead City. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ronelda Moore; two sisters, Virginia Gillikin and Faye Brown. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 Monday at the Church.
