John Wesley Daw

Obituary Wesley Daw, 64, of Beaufort, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. Wesley was a faithful, lifelong member of North River United Methodist Church of Beaufort. He retired after 37 and a half years with the civil service aboard Cherry Point as an HVAC work leader. Wesley is remembered as having a servants heart, stewarding his God-given gifts to help anyone whose life encountered his. His love for his family, his Savior, and the water was evident to anyone who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at North River United Methodist Church with Pastor David Jones officiating. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Bobbie Daw of Beaufort; daughter, Elizabeth Craft and husband, Robbie of McLeansville, NC; grandson, Wes Craft; brother, Leeman Daw Jr. and wife, Berta of Beaufort. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leeman Sr. and Viola Daw; sister, Wendy Bayer.
